Short answer: Pick what you like. there is no useless or hated class in the game. Anything you pick you will be able to play any content the game offers. No one is going to reject you in a party just because of your class. Normally people are looking for lets say a Support in their group of 3 DPS! After you finish tutorial once, all the classes you create next, you can skip tutorial and start at level 10 straight. Most fun class in Lost Ark? Hey, been trying EU LA for a week and lvled artillerist to 40 and paladin, gunlancer and bard to 30. Tried deathblade and some other dps but pure dps just doesnt suit me. Peace maker gunslinger is the most fun for me since it gives a lot of options for different situations, and learning skill rotations for each situation is hard to master but fun to play. I don't really enjoy my bard, db, and sharpshooter, but they are fine in comparison to the gunslinger and zerker that I deleted lol. As far as cheap, consensus is that SH, Scouter (which obv isnt out ... Paladin is the most fun to progress. But half of lost ark player base jsut want to get bussed anyway so they don't care. There's definitely an issue with how paladins are generally perceived. No argument that it's an easy class to play, because it's straightforward but that does't necessarily make it boring. Soulfist is a pretty challenging class to play optimally and the two builds require different skillsets to pilot so when I have the resources I'll definitely set-up a robust spirit gearset for fun. But until then I enjoy dashing around and managing buffs/energy. iv2b • 1 yr. ago.An important thing to remember is that gunlancer scales extremely well with engravings, especially blue lancer - since your shield is basically always up (if you have specialization & time your shout right) a lot of the negatives to engravings are basically negligible. Gunlancer is a dps class just like the rest.In kr, striker is pure dps that quite good damage. But striker needs some several things like runes, speicality, etc. Btw i think if you feel good at striker, it is good for you to pick striker. Striker have only 2 high damage jewels so you feel good and save your money. He will strong after relic tier and 33333.Gunslinger can be another good choice, though you're squishy, you have plenty of mobility, and your range on snipe can help you get uptime on mechanics. Warlord/Gunlancer is easily the best solo class. I think this is a somewhat risky answer. There are a lot of disclaimers to make. .
